Logan-Immordino California Tableware is hand-crafted in our Studio alongside the Russian River in Healdsburg, California. Designed and produced by our owner, Peter Immordino, each fully-functional piece is lead-free, food-friendly, dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. Peter combines classic ceramic expertise with unique color and bold, contemporary design to produce pieces that will enhance any home and life. What began as a desire to turn pottery into tile as part of the craftsman movement of the early 1970s has grown into life's work for both Peter and Tracy.
Artist's Statement: I endorse and celebrate the California crafts style and believe that art is a function of everyday life and a practical expression of the joy of living. I hold a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University where I learned to combine art with science and practical functionality with beauty. After 25 years as a founding partner, engineer and glaze specialist at McIntyre Tile in Healdsburg, CA, I founded my own studio to branch out in different forms, colors and shapes. Our ceramic tableware is the culmination of many years and ceramic dreams. Peter Immordino, Owner

Peter and Tracy met during auditions for the musical comedy, “Once upon a Mattress”. They, and their two children, Tony and Annie, share a love of theatre and the arts that has continued all these years. Tracy states that “art has always been a really important influence” for her – going back to her earliest memories growing up and her grandfather, Maurice Logan, a designer, fine artist and a California impressionist with the Society of Six. Tony shares the drawing talents of his great-grandfather while Annie shares the on-stage talents of her parents. Peter and Tracy still do musical comedies whenever they get the chance; the pinnacle of shared family theatre occurred at the Camp Rose Theatre when the whole family starred as the Von Trapps in the SOUND OF MUSIC. (Peter as Georg; Tracy as Maria; Tony as Frederick; Annie as Gretl.)
